It looks like Samsung has big plans for this year. The company is going to sell 60 million cell phones. It means that we will be able to see a range of amazing as well as powerful mobile devices, such as the slimmest Android based handset, i.e. the Samsung Infuse 4G. The cell phone was introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show that was held in Las Vegas last week.
It was confirmed by head of Mobiles Division Samsung, Shin Jong-Kyun that the new version of the Galaxy S phone would be rolled out at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2011. It will be held in Barcelona and will start from February 14.
Back in November, it was disclosed that that the Samsung Mobiles planned the release of a Galaxy S successor in 2011. According to Shin, the new version of Galaxy S will pack in a dual-core mobile processor, which means it can be a new dual-core chip developed by Samsung or Tegra T20 CPU of Nvidia. No doubts that the handset will be enabled with a Super AMOLED display that offers higher pixel density. What is more, the mobile device will be based on the Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.
